Your Neighborhood Church

Located right in Cuyahoga Falls, UPC is a friendly, inviting place to come grow your faith and make great friends. We have plenty of ways to get involved and we’d love the chance to get to meet you. Participate in one of our Sunday services – either 8:30a or 11a – to get a feel for who we are and what we have to offer.

Stewardship Part 1

Prosperity Minded

October 12, 2014 – Luke 6.38 and Psalm 35.27-28

True stewardship is not rooted in obligation, but rooted in God’s character – His heart of abundance and shalom ( … nothing missing, nothing broken)

This week and next we will explore what it means to serve God out of an abundance and blessing mind-set.

Come experience the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

Ryan Hawkins

Introducing

Ryan Hawkins

Our new Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator

Ryan comes to us from the Chapel in Akron as a General Pastoral Intern, having much experience with college ministry on their Green Campus. Prior to his internship at the Chapel, he served as a member of a church planting team for the Mercy Baptist Church in Marion, IN, engaging in youth ministry, adult education, and worship leadership.

He is currently completing his Master of Arts in Christian Studies through Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and is a graduate of Taylor University in Upland, IN, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Literature with a minor in Christian Educational Ministries.

We hope every member will introduce themselves to Ryan and Corry, make them feel at home, and that Ryan’s ministry among us will enrich all our lives.
