Project R.I.S.E. works with the Akron Public Schools by providing children of homeless families with a doll, blanket and bag to comfort them and aid in their learning. Please join us for some sewing fun on the second Saturday of each month, 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon in the church library.
The 2nd Saturday of every month in Fellowship Hall.
This gathering was formerly known as the “Free Soup Lunch.” Don’t let the name change stop you from coming out for a wonderful meal and fellowship from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Everyone will receive free bakery goodies. Bring friends!

This is purely a social group for folks of all ages. Come and join us for a pot-luck lunch at noon in Fellowship Hall. This is really a wonderful program.
We are in the process of beginning a men’s program for all ages so stay tuned for details.

All women of the church are invited and welcome to join the Ruth Circle in the church parlor for Bible study and fellowship.
Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. FREE!
You can start any day, as forms are reviewed each day. The 8 forms used have been proven to improve balance. We open with prayer, warm-ups and have Q & A. Rick Earle leads these classes.
We continue to help with disaster relief efforts through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
We also support the Syrian Refugee Children’s Schools in Lebanon, in partnership with the Evangelical Church in Lebanon.
We support the four special offerings through the Presbyterian Church (USA) during the year.
We had an Italian Night/Talent Show in October 2017 and the proceeds supported a local school to supply books and uniforms.
We supported the Esperanza Mission Team as they traveled to Mexico in February to build houses for those in need.

Tuesdays in the Sanctuary at 6:30 p.m.
Friday night is for unpacking and shelving. Saturday morning is for distribution. Pantry is on the 4th weekend each month. Special distribution times occur during the holiday season.
Since hunger never ends, if you are able to help with set-up, please come on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and/or on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. to help with distribution. Thanks again for your generous support of this ministry.
We continue throughout the year to collect Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s labels. We donate them to our local schools to support their fundraising efforts. The collection box is on the counter in the church office behind the main door. Thank you again for all your support.
